What exactly was the quoated price for the 601s/701s in your NS&L e-mail as of today?

yep. i'll be ordering a k701 tomorrow...too good of a deal to pass up.

That is the list price and not the price that NS&L sells them at.

That's correct WhatMACHI; YOU MUST E-Mail them for their best price! Which takes 1 or 2 days for them to reply, at least that was the case when I did.

Also, I believe you must make the transaction with your C.C. over the telephone anyway, so a call is necessary anyway. Their tel.# is posted early on in this thread....Download SKYPE and call for free!

Easier to just call and speak with one of their sales reps. They'll take your CC info and everything right over the phone, reasonably friendly as well.

I'm listening to Gardiner do Beethoven's 3rd symphony on my k701's right now... damn it if it doesn't sound good! I just wish they were more comfortable on my big head.

I received my K701's from Northern on Tues, about 10 days after I called and ordered them. That was quicker than I thought. The price was sure right and they were very communicative and easy to deal with, plus they include a free t-shirt! I would recommend them highly

I just received an e-mail from them saying "The K701's are currently backordered indefinitely". I asked them to clarify, but they haven't replied yet. Is that normal, or are they no longer shipping them?
