Some one mentioned that Northern Sound & Light had a good price on some lower end AKG model. I went to the website and found that the prices were hidden and would be emailed upon request. So, out of curiosity, I asked for the price of the above headphones. For anyone considering purchasing an AKG phone, I suggest you check out this site. It did take them several days to respond to my pricing request, though.

I'm looking at these paired with a Corda Aria, Dared MP5, or Gilmore Lite. I'd like to buy a Headfive, but I've yet to find a link to where I could buy one. (Only used in the FS Forum, but they sell so fast...) Can anyone provide a link? That'd be great.

I didn't know this was a Head-Fi specific sale. That's a darn good price too... I may have found my home set up.

Maybe this isn't the best place for this, but I'll ask anyway. I heard amps can suck a lot of current from their source shining not so good of light on portables being used. Is this true of the Headfive? I'm planning on using my H320 perhaps 50% of the time (the other 50% would be my PC/laptop), so you can understand my concern, I hope.

I've purchased pro audio gear from them and chatted with the people over there—at least with respect to gear (never bought headphones). They're good, knowledgable people all 'round and have always been reliable in shipping and returns. I had returned a Sennheiser lav mic tx/rx kit back to them without any problems at all!
