I recently got a pair of the SR60i's, and am lovin' them so far. I've heard a lot about how they'll sound better once they've been "burned in". How much of a difference is there really in the sound quality between when you first listen to them and when they're burned in? Is it true that the bass gets better and the highs get smoother?

Based on my experience with the sr60i after burning in the highs really tend to smoothen out and are not as piercing as out of the box.For the bass i find that it gets a little tighter.

I didn't find any evidence of 'burn-in' or other time/use-dependent impacts on SQ for my SR60 or SR125i.

purchased a pair of rs2i's about a month ago, and i found them a bit disappointing at first, esspecially listening to the like's of supertramp i found the sound piearcing, but now after about 60 hour's plus they sound absolutley fantastic
