Hi all,

I am looking to buy a new set of headphones. I can get a great deal on an open box Grado SR60i, but my last experience with Grado was awful. I liked the sound, but the miserable cable design caused one side to completely short out (no matter how careful I was to make sure the cable didn't get twisted). I was also upset with their customer service. The cans were under a year old, and the dealer I bought them from still used carbon copy paper for sales tickets (real old-school hi-fi store), so there is no way I could have kept track of the receipt, and Grado refused to fix them under warranty without one. Should I look into giving them a second chance?

Second, I am looking at a pair of very lightly used Senn HD600s. I know this is a big step up from what I have now, but I am wondering what kind of deal I would get. What is a reasonable price for a very lightly used set of HD600s?

I like my MDR-7506s, but they really lack depth since they are closed cans. I'd like something open.

Thanks!

HD-600, I guess $200-250 should be reasonable?
