Are the harsh highs and fatigue attributed to Grados similar to the sibilance and brightness of the AD700? Because that'd be perfectly fine with me as I prefer it somehow.

Yes?

I really don't understand what your asking.

Grado and AD700 are close, but only the SR80i, SR60i have more bass.

Are your Ad700 harsh? Because my Grado aren't

I prefer treble as far as sound sigs go, so I have no trouble with bright headphones. A lot of people complain about how harsh or overly bright Grados can be and I just wanted to see if what they're talking about is of any concern to me.

The AD700s also get their fair share of flak for being bright, but I've never had trouble with that. So if Grados are no worse in that regard, it's a green light for me to ahead and try a pair.

Does that clear up my question?

I don't find the ad-700 bright. I also don't find my sr-225i's bright. So there you go.

Grados are bright, like a carbon filament light structure. (the lights that can blind satellites, ..., too far?)
