I have: R8II->Aroma (no Opamps swap yet), 1ZM2->Tsuranagi, 320Max->PB5 and soon 320Max->D16->PB5. Couldn’t find the time for critical listening and comparisons. IYO, which combo would be the keeper? Thanks.

Damn folks. PB5 was just too good of a deal to miss out on. Started listening to it today and my goodness these things sound fantastic. It just brings the DX300Max I have here a full several grades above what it already sounds like. Can't stop listening to it actually. The IEM I am using is a brand new IEM I am reviewing called the Tansio Mirai TSMR-X or 10th anniversary edition. This combo here is just mind blowing. In any case. For folks that are wondering the PB5 is excellent for both cans and IEMs. Thus far the PB5 has exceeded my expectations.

From what I read in the past it is for MAX owners.

Got confirmation from ibasso that MAX owners can still get the 40% off discount on a new PB5. That is still a one-time deal for individual MAX units with warranty cards.
On the other hand, D16 owners do not get any discounts on a new PB5.
