So I'm looking to grab a good pair of in-ears while I'm saving up for a pair of Customs for JHAudio. What would you guys recommend in the sub 200 range?

You need to be more specific. That post doesn't tell much except for price range. Do you want analytical, balanced, bass heavy, etc. kind of sound from yoru earphones..

Sorry about that. I listen to a lot of music, mostly rock and rap. I would like to have balanced headphones too. I like bass, but not when it washes out everything else. I like being able to pick out the different instruments and would not want to sacrifice that.

UM2s are not for you, that's for sure. Turbine Pros or UE TripleFi, they're better than the Westones for rock and rap. UM2s have a huge veil on the treble, and way too warm sounding (too much bass, not much of anything else).

^^ Not better than the W3s though; albeit the Golds/Coppers and Triples are great for those genres; I had them last year and loved them.
