My planned set up right now is an EMU 0404 hooked up to an amp, which will run a pair of senn HD595. I need to know which amp to get though, my budget is about 200 dollars, my only requirement is that the amp I get is the most faithful amp available in this price range, nothing else matters, the only thing I could think of is that a 1/4 inch output would be nice as opposed to a 1/8 inch output. Also, if anyone has recomendations for a different DAC under 200 dollars, that would be great, my only requirements for that are the most faithful sound reproduction and USB capability.

hmm under 200, the musiland 02 US is nice.  amp under 200$, i liked my little dot MKII while i had it.  if youre gonna stick with the HD595, i think you can pass by getting a portable amp like a used RSA or such.  if youre going to go bigger then i suggest a full size amp.

I don't want to just "get by" with my amp, IMO, an amp is a permanent piece of equipment, or at least relatively so.

i would have suggested that too. i had one and it was great. but if you wanna get somehting with a DAC and AMP combo, look into the Nuforce Icon HDP. 449$ new and i hear the amp portion is pretty good.

If you want a great Amp/DAC combo (within your budget) look into the Audinst HUD-MX1. It seems like a great piece of equipment.

I do not want an amp DAC combo, when I made the request I was more or less hoping for two separate recommendations. Anyway, I was looking into the Asgard too.

That is absolutely okay then, I just dont want to spend money to get the amp feature since I dont intend on owning headphones that will require an amp anytime soon.
