Good to here from you wowie11, i concur with your thoughts. I've been running mine 24/7 since i got 'em, and they do seem to be a tad less forward, but in a good way. Still a very fun shoe stompin' kind of sound! Still undecided as to whether or not i should buy a new cable. I'd like to try some out before i buy. Stock one seems pretty good though.

came out to $128.xx (current exchange rate as of 4/12/06 @ 1:45pm). Maybe it would be wise to wait for more favorable exchange rates before ordering?

I hope there won't be complications with my CC company.

yes, the coated drivers definately should have a noticeable effect in sound. however, this may be like comparing the ksc35/50 to the ksc75.

all i know is that i can't hardly wait for mine to arrive. I'm going to A/B them with my hd555 and hd580, and hopefully, I can manage to let go of one of the three.

Perhaps. Mine were $125.xx when I ordered yesterday. But since Mantra is likely to raise the price soon, it's a gamble.
