Also, how much, with shipping, did they cost you in $US? I've heard somewhere in the range of $122-127. Got 140, figured that would cover it.

Blah.. count me in on Section DR150, if I get this worked out.

I'd go straight to the mantra site and inquire about that, don't use any link from that e-mail. I get phony PayPal e-mails all the time wanting my info.

If I wasn't currently unemployed I would consider taking the plunge. Now, if any other Head-fi'er who is just too busy to do a review wanted to buy a pair and then loan them to me I would be more than happy to review them.

LOL! What a guy! I'll second that on a new pair of Omega II's!

I think the coated drivers would be a large difference in SQ, Also from the pics the velour looks better on the DR150's. To me the price difference between the two is too small not to go for the DR150.

Good to here from you wowie11, i concur with your thoughts. I've been running mine 24/7 since i got 'em, and they do seem to be a tad less forward, but in a good way. Still a very fun shoe stompin' kind of sound! Still undecided as to whether or not i should buy a new cable. I'd like to try some out before i buy. Stock one seems pretty good though.

yes, the coated drivers definately should have a noticeable effect in sound. however, this may be like comparing the ksc35/50 to the ksc75.

all i know is that i can't hardly wait for mine to arrive. I'm going to A/B them with my hd555 and hd580, and hopefully, I can manage to let go of one of the three.

The groups gettin' bigger! I'll bet the DR150 makes the cut and stays in your stable!

Perhaps. Mine were $125.xx when I ordered yesterday. But since Mantra is likely to raise the price soon, it's a gamble.

After poking around Goldring's site, I've concluded that it may be "Dynamic Range."
Or "Dunmow Road."

JenghanHsieh <--- I'm the nineth.

I just LOVE my HD595, but what's wrong for spending another 130 USD on something with different sound signature ?
