I found ear tips for Rex5. The AZLA Origins and Xelastec work well; the Origins sound better. Comparing them to the AZ 100s is a fair yet harsh comparison since they are the most comfortable earbuds I've ever worn.

I'm a little confused by your comment on the Audiodo personalization, which is not an equalizer. This is what Google Gemini said.

AudioDo in the Rex5 app is a sound personalization technology that creates a custom sound profile based on your unique hearing capabilities. It conducts a hearing assessment for each ear and optimizes the audio output accordingly, resulting in a perfectly balanced and personalized listening experience.
Equalizers, on the other hand, adjust the balance of different frequency components within an audio signal. They are essential for tailoring the sound to your preferences or compensating for deficiencies in the audio source or listening environment. The Rex5 app features a 10-band equalizer that allows you to fine-tune the audio settings to your liking.
Both AudioDo and equalizers are valuable tools for achieving optimal sound quality and a personalized listening experience with the Rex5 earbuds. While AudioDo focuses on tailoring the sound to your hearing, the equalizer provides further flexibility in shaping the audio to your specific preferences.

Personally, I tried the Rex5 because AudioDo sounded cool. @FullCircle can let us know how the AudioDo works with the Rex5.
I am not talking about AudioDo. I no longer have the app so I can't show you. For the REX5 you need to use the curve eq, since it writes directly to the buds themselves. I think the 10 band eq is left for the older FoKus models and not really meant for the rex5. Sorry if you think I'm harsh, because my opinion differs from yours.

Anyone any experience with the Xiaomi buds 5 pro? Packs quite the hardware, wonder if its any good.
These are good from the perspective: case size, touch controls and comfort of TWS. The ANC and tuning are close to Huawei TWS. Call quality while on street and Microsoft Teams are very good.

What are the challenges, no app unless you have a Xiaomi phone, so not sure how to achieve software updates. If you have access to one, the app does not have an eq.

Also only the Black version has the WiFi connectivity, but only with Xiaomi 15 Ultra.

There is an app - Xiaomi Earbuds app.
Most features work fine via the application including firmware updates and EQ changes.

Well since I’m an unemployed tech worker in San Fran I had the time to really do a deep dive into the $300 to $500 TWS products I needed a project, which is why I had time to figure this all out

But here is what I’m excited about: There will be new Sonys, and I’ll be interested to see how they stack up, and a new Beoplay. I have the Beoplay Elevens, which people say are similar in sound to the FX, but ANC and the app are much better. So, I have super high hopes for the new one. I like what I have and think the Beoplay eleven is better all around than the AZ 100s, but it is more expensive.

Hooray for the secondary market on eBay to sell my old ones.

Can’t wait

Hi guys. Here's my two cents about the Noble FoKus Rex5, I really liked them:

AFAIK, these are the only 5 driver wireless earbuds on the market, right?

How big is the drop off when you're out of wifi range and back using bluetooth?
Dropping from 4.2mbps 24/96 (WiFi) to 2.1mbps 24/48 (LE) is quite noticeable loss of quality. Wi-Fi Mode is comparable to true wired audio and dropping down to Bluetooth still sounds great but not as polished, defined and less realistic. At this point no Bluetooth codec can compare to XPAN

Does this require a phone that offers this codec?
