Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

Interesting. I guess the JBL side of things weren't refined as well as GB3P for release. Which isn't surprising given GB3P is Samsung's flagship that's expected to sell. But even with GB3P, there was the tearing of the tips, which is Samsung for ya.

I do think that airplane adapter feature is a cool idea. I wish they all had that. Not sure how useful that LCD screen on the case is.

I would like to hear a comparison between GBP3 and the JBL. Is there differences I wonder.

I didn't have any real issues with GBP3 since I got them. Only thing was being able to see the charge level for the case, and recently realized you have to place an earpiece in the case to see the charge level show up, which is a minor nuisance for me.

If I compare to Hauwei freebuds pro 3, I like the ANC and battery life by a mile on it compared to Samsung. Samsung has better sound quality, but that's about it. ANC is good, but not as good as Hauwei. I want all these qualities of Hauwei, but with some good ass SQ. Like, wind noise is reduced with Hauwei (this is uncommon), it's ANC is crazy good. Hauwei isolates ambient sounds like a mofo. It's really impressive that I really like it for that alone, and once you really get good ANC, it's hard to go back. ANC is very practical in a convenience sense to rid of the noise.

Hauwei charges super fast, and battery last a LOOOONG time. This is a very good feature for convenience. Very under-rated feature IMO. A lot of these characteristics of Hauwei makes it a top choice IMO. I weigh what it does best as really important features for the overall experience.

My ideal audio listening is with hardly any ambient noise, and ANC would give me that anywhere, so that's the convenience. This is especially important for people that do not have the luxury to have a very sound isolated room.

I have the jbl tour pro 3 and galaxy buds 3 Pro what specifically did u want to know when comparing them? (I also have Huawei freebuds pro 3..) I guess I like buds with the number 3 and word Pro in them

I wasn’t online for a while due to comfort issues had to sell zx-1 how is the sound and comfort on bw pi8? If you guys kind to share your experiences I ll appreciate them

Most of the cases don't have Bluetooth so the buds report case battery level. My buds3, xm5, etc. All have the same behavior.

If you have the app open when removing the buds you'll have case level right away.

I've also got the JBL Tour Pro 3 and indeed they are fantastic. Really happy with them.
I had been using the default tips for some time but recently switched over to the azla TWS and for me the fit is much better (slight improvement in ANC too)
Sound is truly fantastic - *Even with EQ turned off.
Spatial audio actually works well too.
I tried using mine for calls too but noticed that when using the transmitter case the mic works but the noise gating doesnt appear to work as well as when you just use bluetooth.

Sleeper hit of the year maybe?

*Limited control customisation is the only big negative for me though

$249 for the SQ these put out...IMHO & limited experience w/TWS, is unmatchable There are a few HF's whose hackles are raised lol.

Listening at home >ANC off> stuck my head under stove exhaust fan on high>stock tips on> WTH? 95% block, makes me want to ignore warnings and take on a plane.

Listening to 'Kill Jill'; live forever.....Bass seems enough....waiting on a FF Deuce when (if) it comes #1 song> this and will compare..was enjoying the moment.
Now listening to 'Spoonman' yes, I get it something is not enough...

ZX1 & Pi8...are stiff competition...comparisons? The SVANAR is Not Being Returned. LOL

Harmon Audio is owned by Samsung but I think they operate under a separate umbrella. The Galaxy Buds Pro 3 are quite different from the Tour Pro 3. The Galaxy stuff seems to be very much intended for Galaxy devices. They have their own secret. codec and no multi-point outside of that ecosystem. No Galaxy codec or private features with Harman Audio stuff.

Well, 5 years isn't terrible, however, yeah, the battery life would degrade over time. I highly doubt decent lasting battery to achieve so many drivers inside them. It better sound like $1000, I personally don't even find any wired to sound like $1000 even if they are price $10,000. lol Wouldn't be surprised if there is some crazy mofo charging those price right now. Price is subjective I know, but in my subjective view, they all not worth whatever they ask for!!

They better cut my grass and fetch me beer too, and then I may consider.

Yea I recently switched to the azla sednaearfit max TWS version
Much better fit and anc for me.

That's not an IEM, that's a status symbol. A solid chunk of those guys in there that's what they are seeking. It's validation like an expensive watch or car or whatever many products there are that have passed a point where it is just to show off wealth.
