Needs to be 6.1.1 which as far as I know is only out for S24 range and Z flip/fold 6 right now. Then its just an option in the wearables sound section for the buds.
My Fold 5 is on One UI 6.1.1 so the update is rolling out to older models.

I might give the Beyer Amiron 300 a try.

Been playing with my Momentum 2’s today, and I’m surprised just how good they fit and sound.. I have 2, bought one around $249 and a refurbished at Sennheiser’s site for $99.. I compared them to my newer Soundcore 4 SE (with the dual drivers), the Senn’s win in comfort and sound (far smoother sound). If you listen to acoustic music there is no comparison in tone/timbre. Of course the Sennheiser’s had an msrp of $399…
The Momentum 2’s are still a good option at under $130.00.

Ok, stop trying to make me buy it !!!! Ok, Ok, Ok, already ...I will. Ok, I did. :>)

I have a secret. I bought the TWS450 for $39. when they first came out. They are still sealed. I am going to A/B with the Svanar. That should be a fun.
Thanks clerkpalmer for the nudge.

Justifying*: $499 at Hifiman com.

*As if I needed to here lol....
It is the closest to an audiophile tuning I have heard in a TWS. I love it. If using LDAC, start the music, then hit the Bluetooth button to disconnect, and immediately hit the Bluetooth button to reconnect, and the connection is stable.

With all this praise for the newer under $150 TWS I’m seeing here, has the diminishing returns curve shifted? I think most of us predicted this a while back, the trickle down effect. $400 TWS’s are gonna be a hard sell…
Yes, but this is still an older release, so it was time to move out the remaining inventory. Some manufacturers, not mentioning any names, but their initials are Noble, will probably still release their stuff at these high prices.

I think 3 or 4 of us made the purchase and retracted because the shipping date moved, and not in the direction for all of us instant gratification folks.

I actually loved the 2's...the 3's started having QC issues and I couldn't get the new design to seal well for me.

I said in a previous post on the same topic that the new Bose QC Gen2's unlike the QCII's do not give me thump (like my teeth chattering but usually only left side) when walking.

FYI: they have all the same bugs and even the new App has the same issues.

Nice! Sorry did not see that. Ordered, let's see ...

My running history with Bose has been mixed. The very first TWS without ANC are great, as are the first QC buds. The sport buds on the other hand I returned, something felt off, like the weight distribution. Then both the QCII and the Ultra, while sounding great with fantastic ANC, give me the thud.

Out of curiousity I checked Bose website, apparently there is no alternate sizing kit for this new model (XS / XL wings and tips are available for QCII and Ultra)

The Alt Fit Kit for the QCII fits but the ear fins for the new buds would not fit the QCII due to the little Notch to stop it rotating (it does not work as they are as loose as each other and fall off).

Looking at the kits and close up photos I would say the Ultra are the same Ear fins.

You can get 3rd party ear fins that may be better.

The part circled in green is a little lug that fits in little groove/notch on the earbuds and to me it looks like the holes for the mics (circled in red) are larger when I tried both models on each other.

QC Gen2 (looks same on Ultra but I do not have those).

i have both alt sets for QC2 and Ultra .. so, I can try and play around ... just surprised that Bose did not release a set specific for the QC Gen2 (darn their naming pattern is slightly annoying / confusing .. just like Nothing Ear (1), Ear (2), Ear (a), 2024: just EAR :D )
