In the box according to the specs page it includes a 3.5mm > USB cable --- so i assume it's analog input from a source to usb on the charge case
It includes both a 3.5 to usb and usb c to usb c cable

Both can be used with the case so it can be a transmitter.

It's similar to how it worked with the previous generation of LG buds but this time u also get audio put / calling support ( although I'm yet to test this)

They are not released elsewhere?. In Korea they show up as pre orders, weird
Very very weird.
I only found them via 2 Korean reviews on YouTube that go into alot of detail.

Then I noticed they ship via amazon germany and found one on the market place. Yet if u go to the official LG site there are no purchase options

I'll post shortly with pictures comparing to jabra elite 10

This first picture shows the LG T90S compared to the Jabra elite 10.

Seriously the case is tiny!!!

This picture shows that when connected to a Pixel 8 Pro the LG T90s just uses standard AAC (no aptx adaptive with the pixel sadly)

Now the interesting part.
If i press the switch on the case and then connect the case to the Pixel using the usb c to usb c cable I now appear to be getting max streaming with tidal!!

Also note that at this point Tidal detects the LG T90S case as a wired headphone

If anyone's got any specific questions about these earbuds then feel free to ask.

When connected via the case ANC/Transparency mode works normally as well. (I do not believe presets and custom eq work but ill need to test that later)

Yes, you have a wired digital connection to your case, about as high-res as you can get, but you are listening wirelessly out of your buds. The question I have is what codecs does the case support? If it is aptx adaptive or higher then that's a pretty cool thing.

Good point

The manual suggests the case supports aptx adaptive. Also see this review which includes frequency graphs (turn on english subtitles)

Here is another review (Korean) that confirms aptx adaptive via the case

Does the sound quality change to your ears? If you tried flipping the switch while the buds is in your ears

The LG earbuds has 2 ridges for the ear tips which are grooved so may be an issue for aftermarket ear tips.

Also only 5 hours (down from 9 hours) with ANC is not very good today esp. on a brand new BT 5.4 chipset,

Yes the sound is different so it does appear to be working . With the one track I tested with they sounded more detailed but the bass was less impactful ( maybe due to my own custom eq which is in use when just using it in blurtooth mode), I really have to do more testing but so far I actually really like these earbuds and I'm glad I took a gamble on them

I dotn think they top buds like the az80 or mtw4 for sound but for the price they really are not bad all round earbuds. A shame the battery life isn't longer though.

* sounds good to my ears

The Aviot android app got updated yesterday. I don't have the buds yet but I had already installed the app.
