The Falcon Max do support Aptx Lossless. Did a comparison with Aptx Lossless and LDAC. Have to brute force LDAC with Bluetooth Codec Changer app. What am noticing with LDAC, the sound has more depth. With Aptx Lossless it is more clean and a bit more detailed
Bluetooth Codec Changer labels Aptx Lossless as 24 bit 44khz
Can't go wrong with either one
Why is one 24/44.1 and other 24(32)/96 assuming the same album not a Lo and Hi Res version, that alone could effect the sound?

Is the album 16/44.1 (CD quality)?

Great post and looking forward to more impressions. Welcome to the thread too!

How did you find the Prestige soundstage/headroom vs the Denon?
Both had very good soundstage. The difference is that the Denon's soundstage was a bit further back and spread out than the Prestige. The Prestige, at times, felt a bit "in your face" but still with a good width.

Yes I know, but at least then an Apple to Apples test and it is easy in Bluetooth Codec Changer (he is using) and it will stick.

Not a big deal but may have been an oversight but IMO the sound will sound different even on same earbuds if you try LDAC at 16/44.1 then set to 24/96 be it just seems louder.

That's what I thought as well, considering the difference in sound, upsampled will sound "smoother" comparing to original redbook.

Tried USB Audio Player show the music file data. Tried a few from 16-24 bit, 44-96khz songs. Mind you Aptx Lossless at 16/44 (Bluetooth changer displays at 24/44 🤷) comparing to LDAC at 32/96. Still felt like Aptx Lossless was cleaner and a bit more detailed. With Aptx the music was mainly up-sampled at high res songs while LDAC handled signal as intended. LDAC had more depth and still sounded detailed in 2nd

How are people finding the new Creatives on Samsung?

My wf-1000xm4's died a few months ago. Tried the 5s and they both didn't fit great and made me motion sick, so I grabbed the TMW3s.

I don't know what it is, but I'm just not enamoured with them. I mean, I like them but I don't love them, so looking at trying the Creatives with the Aurvanas....

Even though i wouldnt use any of the Polar features these seem so much more interesting to me.

Shape looks like it could be super comfy, case is slimmer and much much more practical. The semi open design can also be an advantage if the anc is good. With good anc and sound these could be basically perfect and i feel like all the development went into these and the normal Momentum are just there to fix the momentum 3.

If these broadcast HR over BT these could actually be pretty useful.

"The most notable thing in the list from a sports tech standpoint is that it broadcasts over the standard Bluetooth Smart heart rate device profile, so identical to that of a chest strap" - seems like they do!
Yeah that’s actually pretty cool. Some old Jabra’s used to do that. I’ll buy these.
