I think because average consumers buy these mostly for travel and want simplicity over features (just adaptive or hybrid ANC and Transparency) to toggle between, ANC off would be a third option which adds an extra step I suppose.I don't understand why there seems to be more & more tws/headphones that don't allow you to turn off ANC as time goes by.

Are these the tips? They appear to be alternate sizes versus the ones that come with the QC2. Just trying to see if I can buy them from Bose...I can say that the Bose QC II eartips fit almost perfectly on the Jabra. Using the L eartips from the QCII improves ANC massively for me.
Sound however seems less impressive however and the Spatial audio for sure seems less... spatial, hah.
But it could also be an EQ change that needs to be done as well, because I think the overall sound changes quite a bit with this fit.
They're even more comfortable with these tips I'd say.
NVM, found these. So next question. I am using the extra large tips from Jabra, would those equate to the Bose QC2 large tips or should I order this alternat size kit?
BTW that alternate kit is EXACTLY what I am thinking Jabra might want to do for the Elite 10...

ANC/Transparency toggle with no choice to toggle both off is becoming more and more normal. My guess is it's something to do with the chips or control scheme. Not offering it seems crazy. And when it is offered recently (DPP) You can't toggle but can deactivate both via the app.I think because average consumers buy these mostly for travel and want simplicity over features (just adaptive or hybrid ANC and Transparency) to toggle between, ANC off would be a third option which adds an extra step I suppose.
Seems like something else is going on

Buds fe Looking a lot like the Nuarl N6 Sport
Is a bit annoying the don't mention any of the driver specs.
Wouldn't blind buy a tws these days without info on the driver being used.

Beware of the nothing ear 2 if you want to purchase it for LHDC. When connected to my OnePlus 11, it only shows AAC. Looked on line and others are having the same issue. Seems like Nothing might have locked the compatibility to its Nothing Phone 2.Returning them tomorrow.

I would say that the Large Bose tips are wider but not as long, so they don't get inserted as deep. Despite that they isolate way more for me.Are these the tips? They appear to be alternate sizes versus the ones that come with the QC2. Just trying to see if I can buy them from Bose...

But yeah, like I said, I think the XL tips for the Jabra are too small, but the Large Bose tips work perfectly for me, so I guess you could say they're equivalent.
I might want to try the XL Bose tips as well, but I actually ordered a pair a month or two back, and that order got cancelled after a month or so and I got refunded so IDK if I want to try that again.
Edit: Yeah that's exactly what Jabra should do.
I contacted their customer service and they said that they have no larger eartips or plans on making them, but that they thanked me for providing the feedback so they can learn and improve for upcoming models or some corporate bs answer like that.

Bleh, I got the Lyperteks in the mail yesterday, but they have huuge white noise/hissing issues. A small white noise floor would be fine, but the hissing changes with the song in some cases, making it massively distracting. I'll mess around with them for a bit and see if I might be able to fix it (or if they're ultimately fine for office use for example), but I might have to return them. I'll probably just get a refund if I do so and try some other TWS pair--they are actually much chunkier than I expected, probably not suitable for winter use.
Edit: well, have to hike the volume a bit at the office and at higher volumes they seem fine for most songs, some quieter ones still have noticeable hissing but it's not like I'm doing any kind of critical listening when working so they might be good enough for this use case. I can't wear a beanie with these though. I'll give them the rest of the week and see how I feel.
The sound is pretty good too, even without "brain burn-in". Vocals sound a bit hollow in some songs, but maybe my EQ'd Honeydews are just exceedingly thick and I need to get used to this sound. The sub-bass is pretty amazing, some wonderfully brain-tickling rumble with some songs.

Just got my Bose QC Ultra's this morning.
Packaging is entirely cardboard.
Comes with 3 sizes of wings/fins (more available on Bose site i believe) plus the usual selection of tips. Very oval shaped with the inner stem being much closer to plastic than silicone (so they're kinda stiff).
Found none work with my ears (my issue more than anything) so immediately on with the 1025 spinfits and large fins (go on and off easily)
Setup is flawless in the Bose app, does the pairing/setup and everything through a nice little guided tour.
The buds support "Find my Device" on android through google.
Pros
The ANC on these is in a different league to the Senn MTW3. In my office (fan + pc's fans) it's like i'm sat in silence. Only noise i can hear with the music off is my own head. The white noise is GONE 99%+ With my senny there's a little noise leakage + i feel the buds themselves introduce a little hiss. The BQCU are god-tier ANC for white noise. Putting my fan on top speed which makes it NOISY still is ZERO sound in the buds. It's eerie. The sound is clean and you can lower volume accordingly and really enjoy the music.
When you put the buds in, they play a short tone, tell you the battery percentage and then the ANC activates and you just hear the world disappears.
The sound profile is less bassy out of the box than the senny's. Much less so than the DPP's. But i feel it's more balanced overall than skewed. Defintiely better details and tighter bass than the DPP/MTW3 but trades away a little bass rumble. It's not that the bass is lacking but it's feeling like it doesn't push the sub-bass as much.
Will tweak the EQ a bit and see what's possible. Ok -- bass is available but it's not going to come close to DPP levels but it is much tighter / cleaner than both DPP/MTW3.
Treble is there and even boosting it in EQ doesn't introduce any sibilence for me at all.
Fit / comfort is there. It's taking me a little time to get used to the feel because it's almost like they're not fitted right but i know they are. They look stylish enough. The silver grey is subtle. They feel solid. The charging case is clean, and magnetised lid
Plenty of overhead on the volume slider -- i'm probably comfortably listening to these at around 65-75% and pushing to 90% is uncomfortably loud for me.
The immersion option does open up the sound. The track below "bubbles" feels wide open.
These do feel much tighter and more revealing the the MTW3's both in the RatM/Dire Straits feels so clean and alive. But similarly the rumble of the timpani in the StarWars track is missing it's boom. So they have bass but do not extend out as far into sub-bass as others.
Cons
Obviously they lack multi-point and wireless charging (not that i really use either of those so not an issue for me)
Seems you cannot customise the buttons in the App (i guess this may come). Only thing you can tweak is the main "hold" shortcut. But not the 1, 2, 3 taps.
Tapping the buds for the commands has no audio feedback (beep) to confirm -- and they don't register the tap for maybe 200ms so you aren't sure if you actually did it. They need to add a little beep feedback on this i feel.
Nowhere near the customisable sound profile as MTW3 -- their audio test + sound personalisation is top-tier. These just literally have 3 sliders for Bass/Mid/Treb
Initial issues:
1. The Immersive audio feels a little buggy -- every few minutes for a split second the audio jumps around and settles again.
2.Can't do the "fit test" either as it's saying the buds are busy. Ok -- seemed this was resolved by a quick restart of the app/buds. Doesn't do much other than play a short chord through the buds to ensure seal.
3. Having the immersive audio on motion (so the sound stays with your head) lags about 1/2 second. So if you move your head suddenly the audio kinda follows you after a quick moment.
Test Tracks:
Besame Mucho - Chantal Chamberland (accoustic with a lovely double-bass)
Evey Reborn - Dario Marianelli
Royals - Lorde
Bubbles - Yosi Horikawa (for soundstage)
Ninth Wave - Trifonic
Take the Power Back - Rage Against The Machine
Six Blade Knife - Dire Straits
Droid Invasion & Appearance of Darth Maul - Phantom Meanace OST

The only way to hear the Buds 2 Pro's are with a S23 Ultra or any Samsung that uses the Samsung proprietary codec, IMO.I got the samsung buds 2 pro after watching the crinacle updated list. Well I've enjoyed them so far because of the convenience, and they dont sound too bad as well. Is there any other TWS I should try as well that you guys think is comparable or better than the bud 2 pro?
I was in Best Buy returning mine and noticed they were $224Amazon USJabra Elite 10, already 10% off
I’m not going to lie, I’m pretty amazing.
