Yes PassThrough transitions to some sort of ANC when biking, not a bad idea, but stays there in my experience even after I stop, i.e. it doesn't go back to PassThrough.
I for one prefer the sound when ANC is on (like on most TWs that have ANC) and it reminded me of the likely reason Bose do not let you turn off ANC on their TWs.
On the Sony XM3 there was a manual "wind mode" that you enabled by sliding Awareness to its lowest setting. This is the first time I've seen it done automatically for particular noise levels. I'm curious to know how it will work when I go on the bridge bike lane that's shared with a noisy train, if it will sample that down.
I thought the DPP sounded good but had to many fit issues and also not fully happy with the sound. The bass was big but not detailed enough for me.
The spatial audio worked well and was more of the star of the show. But like other instances of this type of technology was not good in all situations.
The personal audio was impressive yet inconsistent as each time it was different.

Actually the one youtuber who does recordings of each TWS replaying a song did one for MTW3 where he used the APTX Adaptive and in that recording it did sound more detailed that the normal recording. So you could be right. Now we just need the darn thing to get adopted...
Not really happy with the sound quality of my AZ80 with ANC enabled, currently going downtown in a Manhattan express train and the ANC sucked the life out of the az80's. Picking up the DPP in a few hours, how drastic is the sound quality change with ANC enabled on the DPP?
I don't like listening to music when anc is enabled on my NTP - wondering if DPP has some adjustment here.
The best one with anc is imo MTW3 - almost no difference when on.

I thought it is was good at first. But don't use it anymore. Find the anc to muddy the upper bass and lower mids. But it's not drastic and certainly not the worst.
