Headphoneus Supremus
Though the AZ80 is a really good TWS with a decent sound quality (maybe the best I own), an efficient ANC for outdoor use, a significant difference between LDAC and AAC BT connection (easy to catch loads of details as soon as many instruments an singers are involved), there is still some room for improvements :
-> volume level control should be accessible with a long press on the left and right drivers and not some double or triple clicks
-> shape of each buds could be better to fit perfectly the central inner ear cavity and be less prominent.
-> I think sound quality can still be improved, as I still get better results with some good middle range IEM + BTR7 (less muddy low frequencies, less sibilance with still more details in middle high/high frequencies, ...), and it is of course even worse when comparing a (WM1A+Ampersand) or M17+DCA Stealth
-> battery playing time for one charge could be an hour better in LDAC mode and reach 8 full hours.
So ... maybe there are still 2 real chances left to go a real step further with the Sony WF-1000XM5 ... but still even not announced ...... and maybe even the Hifiman Svanar Wireless which seems promising too, thought it seems to be probably far too bulky for my taste and a "No-Go" because of this.
