No, default is the adaptive bitrate.Good catch thanks. I am not really sure what that is, maybe default is the highest.

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

Cool let me bump thatNo, default is the adaptive bitrate.
On Android:
- transferring files: plug in a USB C cable and boom! Full USB 3.2 speed and everything on your phone is accessible. Or I can use QuickShare if I want to go wireless,
- universal clipboard: use Pushbullet, works the same and is compatible with any OS,
- ahhh, the beloved iMessage that no one uses outside the US. Everywhere else, we use WhatsApp, Telegram or Signal. Works better and also across devices/OS. The green bubble thing is SO pathetic and so 12 year-old,
- I don't care about car integration, I don't drive,
- cloud sync: have you ever heard of Google Drive? OneDrive? Mega? Etc. There's plenty of cloud services available for syncing data.
Feel free to look outside your Apple ecosystem, you'll be surprised that they didn't invent anything and us not using it are perfectly fine. (btw, I work in I.T. so yup, I know what I'm talking about).
You're welcome. Wow, what a waste of 5 minutes putting this together...
Sorry guys for the OT, he/she asked for it.
What I meant was: AAC is AAC, whoever uses it. It's still lossy and can only do up to 256 kbps while LDAC goes up to 990 and can be considered lossless.
Apple can't make AAC better, it's standardized and can't be lossless no matter how well they advertise it. This is what I meant by Apple gaslighting.
You can use whatever you want, I'm still using wired with a DAP anyway.
You don't use TWS or BT so why are you hanging out here? Thinking of going to wireless?

See you just proved my point To have the ecosystem experience you have to use third party apps and who as time to do all that research and set up? People pay for the easy ecosystem Plus 88 million people drive to work every work day I drive 2 hours a day for my commuteOh, that's cute, an Apple fanboy (or fangirl?). Sure, let's go!

My issue here isn’t what is right for each of us here Clearly people here have made their choice and are somewhat technical so android makes more sense
But there are a lot of people who don’t need the latest greatest tech They need something that just works easily and works together That is what Apple figured out and why they are the most valuable company in the world
My reaction was to the endless bashing here of Apple when they do build good products with what I would argue is a much stronger user experience
iOS is far from perfect and neither is android and the decision on what to use is about what trade offs your willing to make
Sorry about the distraction all It’s just the Apple bashing is painful

I love my time capsule! And it’s saved me a few times!
To be honest, I can see leaving iOS, but I can’t see going back to windows ever
This has been really interesting As a user, I love the Apple ecosystem and elegance of the Apple experience that is truly what I pay for But clearly others here have different values here
Enjoy the weekend all
I dont think there is car play And I’m not sure you can share files with other they way you do with air drop And perhaps you don’t use those features and Samsung works well for you That is terrific but I use CarPlay and airdrop all the timeYou dont have to use third party apps on Samsungs, everything is integrated as on Apples.

I do have the Technics AZ80 that I use occasionally. But I'm 99% wired, you're right. You don't use TWS or BT so why are you hanging out here? Thinking of going to wireless?
I'm just curious to see how the tech is evolving, especially codec-wise like aptx lossless and such. Maybe one day, wireless will be perfectly lossless and I might be here for it. Who knows?
We have Android Auto and Quick Share on Android. Same stuff. Honestly, check out what's outside of the Apple world, you will probably learn a lot of new things.I dont think there is car play And I’m not sure you can share files with other they way you do with air drop And perhaps you don’t use those features and Samsung works well for you That is terrific but I use CarPlay and airdrop all the time

Idk, the conversation is how Apple has pulled an amazing amount of performance from AAC…. I’ve done comparisons between SBC and AAC on idevices. There should be a difference, but the gap on Apple is night/day. AAC optimization is real and beneficialThe best at selling overpriced stuff that can only do lossy AAC. Gotcha.

You think wrong. There is an Android version of CarPlay, AirDrop, even for iMessage and FaceTime too...all integrated.
It's time to look around. You didn't mention a single feature that are not available on Android....

The real problem is windows is a deal breaker period And if you have a Mac, it kind of drives the phone decision

But to me it stil about the elegance and seamless the user experience

I've been using Mac for about 5 years and Windows for over 2 decades. I miss Windows every time when have to use Mac. It's so dumb and restricted in every way...
We should continue this conversation somewhere else cos this discussion has become way too off topic.

Just tap "full options" and select 990. But sometimes it doesn't work(very rare) at least with my phone, you also need to check in developer options after that. Not a stutter with the AZ100....I have really thinned the herd. I can't believe that is all I have left.

It's called Android auto and it's pretty seamless with all my Android phones. No issues playing music from my Amazon Music subscription either. Moving files is drag and drop and can be automated. This Apple vs Android thing is silly in my opinion and it is not a zero sum game. You are free to like Apple products (most of my friends do). Pointing out what you perceive to be shortcomings of Android phones does not somehow make your iPhone any better than it actually is. For people who are interested in TWS as a hobby and in maximizing audio quality, as many in this thread are, Android certainly provides more options.I love my time capsule!
