I was like you when I first used them...I also got my gpbp2 and find them OK but not amazing. The fit is significantly improved offer the gpbp1 which were massive, however, they're still not as comfortable for me as the pb2 or pba. For whatever reason they feel a little odd to me when I'm talking. SQ is OK, I find they lack clarity oob and used the EQ to boost the treble and upper mids. Anc and transparency are OK. Mic quality is OK, not amazing but not as bad as some reviews seem to indicate. I think they're an OK choice and I'll probably keep mine.

I'm not familar with any Bose products. I have an other headphones act funny that way; one was a bad charging case. I find you can either disconnect the headphone through your devices BT settings; generally in Andriod, you can hold the BT setting, it will go to your BT devices, hit the headphones to disconnect. The BT will be a couple minutes, but will eventually shutoff because of non-use. The other thing to try, assuming they're a touch control, hold the power button. Most earphones may go into pair mode, but will eventually shut off. Hold it till it does. For those who care and for what it's worth, I wasn't having bluetooth issues with the new Bose QC. The issue was the L or R bud would just power off. BT was rock solid out doors and indoors, no issues. But the power issue was odd and annoying. Talk about ruining a movie...
Other than that, complain to Bose.

Yes but I'd be concerned about the condition of the batteries with new old stock TWS.65 € for a WF1000XM3 like new is fair?
Haven't traveled in a while so no idea when this started but I am on a Delta flight and they now have Bluetooth. Works really well and no need for an IE Match and wired IEMs or cable to my headphones. A nice step for TWS that makes them even more convenient in my opinion.

Gonna be testing my shiny new Pi8s on a Delta flight later today, in fact. Good to know!
I fly Delta about two weeks ago. I didn't notice. Make sure to unsynch your BT headphones when you land.

If you manage to keep them in your ears, probably !
Mine do as well. Brought PI8 and Px8 with me for this trip so tried both. Only let's you connect one device at a time (i.e. you need to forget the previous device to connect the new one) but also easy enough to click forget device. Px8 has a cable too and PI8 has the reteansmission feature but it is really nice to not need either.I fly Delta about two weeks ago. I didn't notice. I don't have time to complain to Bose. Been here before. I'm only sharing here for others so they know they're not the only one. I assure you, and sadly, I have bought hundreds of headphones and I know how to repair, reset, blah blah, but appreciate you wanting to help.I'm not familar with any Bose products. In your case I would say yes,
PI8s have been great so far. ANC is not quite the same as my Px8 but good enough (couldn't hear the flight attendent with my Px8). Blocks out most of noise from the kid sitting behind me though and I can still listen at normal levels.Gonna be testing my shiny new Pi8s on a Delta flight later today, in fact. Good to know!
The ANC on the Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro is pretty amazing though. On par if not better than my Px8 (not that B&W is known for best in class ANC) but pretty impressive for TWS. The Buds3 Pro almost completely blocked out the kid behind me (who is watching a tablet without headphones). I do prefer my PI8 over the Buds3 Pro for music still (don't mind hearing a little extra fan noise).
Pretty sure the person sitting next to me thinks I am crazy because I keep changing between PI8, Px8 and Buds3 Pro. Time to take a nap and enjoy the music.

Could be. My other guess is he's living out some sort of sick lonely single guy fantasy here. Evidently, I might be part of it. Ugh.Is he talking about the (happy) Neil Young PONO player?

Though much of this forum is about music reproduction, I have to say that the Samsung GBP3, though no slouch with music, do happen to hit the in-office conference call trifecta for me:PI8s have been great so far. 1 - The ANC is awesome, does a good job with the voices and seems to go to 11 sometimes with its dynamic adjustment.
2 - On my other TWS (Aviot ZX1, Jabra Elite 10) I have to always turn off the mic when not speaking or people mute me, but on these no one seems to mind.
3 - The clarity and fidelity of people's voices are easily the best I've heard in a TWS, no contest (wide band calling is a new "must" for me).
On the downside, of lack of multi-point does suck.
