Pity they went away from the secure fit wings/buds your model has for the QC II, they give me sore ears and open wounds and that is after buying the Extra Fit kit, it is the earbuds not the wings that cause it and feels like a cookie cutter in my ear (the top part).

I am not putting them in my ears again, added to they sound the usual Bose type signature (bass heavy and not good bass) which IMO is not good.

ANC/AMB cannot be turned to OFF so 6 hours battery at best and the white noise with ANC on is annoying so again IMO totally overhyped and overpriced and I knew better than to take a chance on them but that is what you get for watching YT reviews.

My old wired QC20's were better overall but two sets split apart on same side (the originals and replacements so returned for refund).

After trying the Fokus Mystiques for a bit longer I will add a few points here:
- They're not as comfortable as I thought they were at first. My ears are really starting to hurt from the deep insertion (hehehe). I feel like the fit is somewhat finicky, I find it difficult to know exactly when they're sitting as they should.
- They really do sound great. When I go outside I've been switching over to the Bose QCII's, for a couple of minutes I feel like the difference in clarity is staggering (in favor of the NFM's of course), but after a couple of minutes of listening I don't "hear it" anymore and the QCII's sound great.

But I still want to add that the Bose QCII's in my opinion sound pretty damn fantastic.
There's something about the bass and vocals on the Bose that I just really like. The bass has this... "bounce" to it, is the only way I can describe it, and vocals sound really clear and up front.
The upper mids and treble isn't anything specific to note but I would still say that they're better than just "good". I mean, I've used plenty of True Wireless earbuds, and despite having several pairs that are more lauded for their sound quality, I still pick up my QC II's way more often. They make all the music I listen to sound "right", and they're very forgiving with low quality recordings in my opinion.
Now of course, I have EQ'd them as I do with most pairs of TWS's, so if you don't recognize what I'm typing that's not weird if you haven't EQ'd yours.

I feel very happy that I have the Bose and Fokus Mystiques, they complement each other very well. One pure audio experience, no frills. The other one still solid audio but amazing noise cancelling that lets you stay undistracted from the sounds around you when you're out and about.

I need to add to my post and say that I think my ear pain was possibly from using an eartip that was too large for my left ear, and since switching to the size medium tips that were included on my left earbud, they sound even better. So I'm not gonna say that they're uncomfortable when it was user error on my part.

On my right ear I wish there was an eartip in between M and L, because they L is possibly just a hair too big, but the medium isn't very secure in my ear and I know that my right ear canal is overall bigger than my left one... so idk.

Those of you with the Campfire Orbit give me your opinion. Is there any point in getting the Orbit if I have the Nuratrue Pro? Both wide soundstages a and both big low ends.

I love dynamic driver mids but I want them to be able to scream at me. Not fussed on features.
I wouldn't recommend the orbit. I had touch issues with mine. And sometimes only one side will have sound, need to put in and take out from the case a few times to get both sides to have sound. Quite a frustrating usage experience. The sound quality also didn't blow me away.

I have the original fokus pros and also had problems getting the right fit and seal. I had some JVC Spiral Dots and they work great. Good sound and seal every time. Someone else on here mentioned them originally, but I don’t remember their name or I would credit them.

Just a thought, have you tried the double flange eartips that the Mystique come with? I found that I could use the large double when I only use medium for single flange. Maybe a snugger fit?

Was supposed to be a reply to @Juturna
Yeah, I tried them, they potentially worked a bit better but I kinda felt like the sound became a bit different, in such a manner that I could tell the difference between the left and the right ear which felt distracting. I guess I could potentially try the double-flange on both ears. Right now I'm using medium in both ears and it's actually kinda working okay.
It's insane how much more clarity and bigger soundstage I feel like they get with the Medium tips vs the Large too.

JVC Spiral Dots
Yeah, I feel like they're kinda expensive though. Cheapest I could find to order from here is something like $46 for a pack.

I have to say that the case for the Fokus Mystique sucks pretty badly though. The paint job, I mean. I had it in my pocket for a 35 minute walk on my lunch break and it has a bunch of scuffs and small pieces of paint missing so you see the metal underneath.
Like, I'm not saying that I don't have any blame in it, I had it in the same pocket as my keys, but I ALWAYS have my earbuds in that pocket, and I've never had issues with paint coming off despite that, no matter the material of the case or anything.

Like maybe white cases being slightly discolored, but I'd prefer if the case for the buds I paid like $380 with shopping for could last at least a couple of weeks before anything like that.

So I bought the nura dongle and then a usb-c to lightning adapter and it doesn't turn on. I can plug into my laptop and it works. Any ideas what to do?

Don’t know if someone has replied already but... I tried an iFi Go Blu on my iPhone with the camera adapter (male lightning to female USB-A) and it wouldn’t work. Then I tried it with the other camera adapter (male lightning to female USB-A plus female lightning) and it worked with the iPhone connected to power. Although the pc’s USB-A can power it, maybe that dongle also needs extra power which the phone cannot provide. Hope this helps.

Thanks - this seems to be the way. Although bizarre that it's a direct fit for the ipad.

Here here. I've been preaching the QCII's for quite a while. They are an exceptional all arounder.

I don't think I've ever carried my keys in the same pocked as my phone and/or a pair of earbuds for that reason. Shame on you! I'm sure I'll jinx myself, but I've never lost a pair of buds, cracked a screen or severely scratched a case or phone. Yup, the sky shall now fall. Ugh.
