Gilmore DYNAHI : Group Buy For Parts

I haven't had a chance to read too much about the Dynahi yet, but it looks nice. How much could a cheap one be built for? Estimated total cost, not just the parts here.

I believe it comes to 400-600 in the end, depending on the parts.

Is that an estimate from the group buy or for individual purchases? Either way, it is probably a bit expensive for me.

Maybe with groupd buy parts, Alps Blue instead of stepped attenuator and a cheap enclosure (DIY wood box) I can handle it. I can always upgrade that stuff later.

I think we're going to need to scrap this one guys. We don't have anyone who can organize this and be the hub. I'm in a dorm, so there's no way I can help. Unless someone out there wants to organize this all over again, I think it's best to let this group buy slide.

i think scrapping an entire group buy may be the go. but, im sure, judging by the number of people who are buying boards in the group buy #2, that we could possibly get one going for transistors? theyre damn pricey down under and we can't order internationally from mcm for orders less then $250usd.

hey i found apart from the 2sa1145 and 2sa1349 some of the transistors are at wescomponents (www.wescomponents.com) some significantly cheaper then bdent. theyre based in nsw and are good guys to buy from in small quantities
