I have been doing a lot of research on here and pm'ing a lot of users on their experiences. I am looking for a good set of closed headphones for hip-hop/rap. If they happen to work well with other types like rock even better but not necessary as I love my 880/600 for that. As far as amps go I am good. I have the WA3+ and the Matrix M Stage on order for sold state. So yes these will be used with an amp and DacMagic DAC. If they work on an iPod un-amped isn't a big concern for me.
