There were a few that didn't like the GK10 and GK80 because of the heart shape. Probably why they changed it. I originally didn't see them as "heart" shaped but simply just a shape that was designed to get a decent fit in the ear. What's wrong with the hearts?

Hm. You don't see them while you're using them. There were a few that didn't like the GK10 and GK80 because of the heart shape. Probably why they changed it. I originally didn't see them as "heart" shaped but simply just a shape that was designed to get a decent fit in the ear.

How do they compare to previous models in regards to tuning?
What has been done to address quality issues that occurred previously?

That does sound somewhat dramatic, doesn't it? On the other hand, given reports of SQ issues previously, this is suggests that SQ is being taken seriously with the new IEM.
Hmm.
From my understanding of GK10 vs i3 Pro(the gen 2), these are apple to orange.
GK10: great at forward spreading diffusion with a sense of reverb surrounding atmosphere, the clouds of surrounding sparkles. It’s more of listening to speaker system rather than IEM style of sounding. Some may phrase it as incoherent frequencies and others like myself will quote is as “unique sense of separation, like listening to a 5.1 speaker system”
i3 Pro: dynamic and sound pressure for mid-range, especially well-textures and almost “can touch” density for mids, the treble extension is not as extended as GK10.
Also the bass presentation is different approach too, GK10 got expansive bass sounding from a distant place, where i3 Pro is more intimate and more dense.
the note weight is almost opposite too, GK10 is on light weight feather-class, i3 Pro belongs to middle to heavy class.
So let me put it this way:
if your priority in listening is rich midrange, very emotional touch, stay with i3, and if a sense of space, dynamic transformation of sound comes first GK10. I can metaphor i3 Pro to Hawaiian/Caribbean or Tropical 🏝 islands, and GK10 to Matterhorn or Alpine ski reports.
so that's why I love the GK10 that much
anyone can share an EQ for the GK10 (preferably autoeq / equalizerAPO compatible) ?
thanks in advance

Looking forward for GK100
I hope it is more of what the GK10 does and less of what the GK80 does. To my mind the GK80 was a mis-step to appeal to the critics of "too much mid= bass bleed in the GK10". While any hint of the mid-bass bleed was eliminated so much timbre and excitement in the sound was also lost. The GK80 is a very nice and very transparent IEM that ultimately sounds ordinary, whereas the GK10 had a little touch of something special in its sound.Looking forward for GK100

Thank you for all your likes! I actually prefer the original i3 to the i3 Pro, but the GK10 has a unique sound which is very addictive. If you get a good one, (my first one was faulty and I had to destroy it before receiving a new one!), there is nothing like it. I have owned 130 different IEMs and the GK10 is a real one-off. It is my first choice for electronic music. I do not seem to experience the mid bass emphasis that many do.so that's why I love the GK10 that much

I am one of the lucky ones too. The treble is particularly impressive and the best implementation of piezo I have heard. Also I do not have a problem with the mid bass. The mids are very nicely done and there is no BA timbre. There is also plenty of weight in the lower bass. Try this piece, wonderful!Me too. Love the GK10. I got a goodun. Bloody excellent. Can't wait for the GK100. Is that still likely to be available soon?
