KB EAR is good people. It is good to give them the business. I am sure their profit margins on these pure silver cables is not great so anywhere you can get them is a good deal IMO. And no worries if they are pure silver.

These cables was tested at an independent lab testing for purity. According to this official report it is 99.998% pure.
Good to know as I was a bit curious about the quality considering the price but silver is silver so I'm excited. This will be my first silver cable. I'm looking forward to how it sounds. 👍

Cables in our hobby can be a slippery slope just like earphones and anything else related to our hobby. You will immediately notice an uptick in sound definition and clarity. Imo everyone should always have a set of silver cables on hand. It does wonders for overly bassy earphones and gives the cleanest signal path to just about anything your attaching them to. Folks spend upwards of hundreds of dollars to get a pure silver cable. To be honest I own much more expensive pure silver cables and these cheaper ones are just as good. The value on these cables are amazing if you consider how much boutique companies charges for a pure silver cable. In any case. Let us know how these turned out for you when you get them.

I try to stay agnostic in this hobby. Some may hear a difference, subtle or dramatic, and some may not hear any at all. I think everyone owes themselves a personal audition to different cable types. If you notice a difference, bingo!. If you don't, well you just saved yourself some money. The only problem I have is with assertions that special cables are a zero sum game. I don't believe they are good for everyone, and I don't believe they benefit no one. Everyone needs to figure it out for themselves.

I agree with that. I know there are lots of folks that don't hear a lick of difference from these cables so I get it. But I know some do including myself. I review cables as much as earphones. If any of you guys are in the camp that don't believe in cables do anything for sound. Disregard my post about cable effects. I don't ever judge folks for not falling for cables effects. I kinda wish I didn't hear any effects from cables. That would have saved me so much money. Lol. As long as you can recognize the sound quality of the earphones you got yourself into. We are all in this boat together. Some like to put on a bow tie and better shoes and that is what cables really do for a person. It is dressing. But sometimes that little bit of dressing can make a person stand out.

I just noticed using the stock cable from the variations that at medium gain anything over 12oclock would start to clip on the dynamic driver whereas with the 24 core kbear I have never heard this iem clip. So the stock cable definitely limits this set of iems under certain circumstances.

Well, I put an order with penon for the blue GK10 they have on preorder, and I have a linsouls cable waiting for them. Hopefully they are a good match. Capture+_2021-08-01-21-32-37.png

Ya the stock cable for the included price on the GK10 is really not bad. But it a bit basic but otherwise I have seen much worse from much more expensive earphones thats for certain.

If you want a bit of both materials copper and silver this is their hybrid cables that @ian91 will be getting. These make a lot of logical sense as both materials will contribute to all aspects of the GK10 sound tuning.

Arrived today, much better than what I was using previously (SPC or OCC, not really sure). Noticeable improvement in clarity but without being shrill or grainy.

Xinhs never disappoints!

Nice. good looking cable too. Might have a snag a few of those for my other IEMs. Silver really brings out them upper detailed notes.

Upon careful look it looks like the copper aspect is much thicker than the silver portion which makes sense for a budget cable. It looks more like a 70% copper and $30 silver mix which is good enough.

It's definitely a beauty, with plenty of accessories to choose from. I went with carbon black to fit with the GK shell. It's got a bit of weight to it that doesn't balance with the GK10, but I've not had any issues with the fit or behaviour of the cable so far.

Quite the bargain at this price :)

Edit: please Xinhs don't inflate the price...<3

So XinHS got these for the cheapest prices. Which makes sense if they are the ones making them. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002042493770.html?pdp_ext_f={"sku_id":"12000018523916850","ship_from":"CN"}&gps-id=pcStoreLeaderboard&scm=1007.22922.122102.0&scm_id=1007.22922.122102.0&scm-url=1007.22922.122102.0&pvid=a7018710-123a-4ff3-a775-50176a25f68f&spm=a2g0o.store_pc_home.smartLeaderboard_6000198554711.1005002042493770

I dont expect these cables to be as good as the Penon Mix cable I have on hand as it is a $150 cable, but it is the same basic idea here but much cheaper.

The XinHS mixed pure copper, pure silver cable is exceptional. I have a MMCX 4.4mm version I use for other IEMs and it is stunning for the money. Best value ever for way under £30.

It has quite a nice weight to it aswell. I like my cables thick but this is a nice middle-ground.
