the compensation hole is not involved at all, so there is a lot of bass here. Quality is so bad. I would not recommend buying as you will not be able to return these headphones. I am very disappointed.

Penon brushes me off with strange solutions to questions. Friends, if you receive such a defective product as mine, you can only throw out your headphones and that's it.

Sorry, but i dont recommend a buy new GK80, i will lose your money
It's sad that yours broke. Did you drop them and they just fell apart?

My pair are sounding very good indeed.

I already had a gap, I just opened the lid with my fingers and that's it :)

Penon's response is very different from my experience. I had a defective set of GK10s and Penon asked me to destroy them and provide a picture. I did this and received a replacement which is excellent. I think there is still a problem with unit variation at Geek Wold so it may be an idea to contact them as well.

In my case Penon does not a replace a new one... for this I had to write to the manufacturer, who, perhaps, will provide me with a replacement.

And Penon tell me what a GeekFly != Geek Wold, after second question i got:
"Bcz GeekFly a USA company, Geek Wold - Chinese"

I hope more distributors follow suit. How do let them know what Penon is doing?

It sure beats sending them a video they can't see. (Too large/Banned video services)

Still waiting for my GK80 ordered on 21 Jan.
Floods have destroyed rail tracks in South Australia which is the main link between the East and West coast, so lots of supply issues and no doubt mail delays.
Plus Covid has been quite bad over East.
Hopefully will get in the next week or two.

Hopefully it won't be too far away. I'm in Brisbane and ordered mine 20 Jan. They arrived last week. I'm still burning them in. They are sounding pretty good but keep changing. Just when I think they settle, the bass will start to sound recessed. So far the mid-range is more pronounced than I expected it to be from those graphs that were circulating.

Still waiting for mine aswell. There have also been issues with flights out of China which may have delayed things too.
