On 15v HPA, Larry gave an answer on another forum:

LPS4 users with HPA. We will help them to change voltage to 15V!
Actually 12V will work as well. I just hope to give the best to HPA.

Yeah out of emotion I made a rant on the other forum. And he gave me that answer...

Interesting new (?) information in the update today on the HPA. Specifically this table:

I thought that it was designed such that two ports on the LPS4 would be enough to power the tube HPA? Know they switched the part about needing 15V versus 12V (and great they'll show us how to make that mod on LPS4's) but didn't realize that we would still need a 120/240V input. Wonder if that's just for the tube heaters? (especially given it only needs 120mA) Maybe I missed something along the way? Cheers

Re: 15V - the idea is that this allows for a higher voltage swing w/o step ups, I believe.  Btw, I think that it's voltage needed, not power.

I think that the 120v was for the heaters... and they needed high voltages.

Yes, you appear to have missed an IGG update from ten months ago:

This is an important update. After we do the long term listening test back and forth for different high tension power supply (B+), there result is clear, using ultra high frequency step up voltage power supply to generate 200V+ voltage is working, but the final sound quality is not as good as a dedicated transformer with super linear power supply.

Even with our active bias tube circle, I could still clearly find the beauty of "tube" when there is ALL linear power supply. Audio Precision test result is similar for different power supply configuration. But your ears just could tell you more truth about the sound quality.

So here is the decision. I will add a dedicated high voltage transformer and super linear power supply for all the Pulse Analog Stage Products that has tube there. So there will be no step up switching power supply there. And the only little issue here is now you need to plug-in ONE AC power and ONE 12V DC power at the same time.

Has anyone received a revised timeline for the delivery of the Tube HPA? I have requested an update from LH Labs but they never responded to my inquiry.

I still have not received a response to my request for an update on the status of the Pulse Tube HPA. At this point, I will consider legal action because it looks like my money has been stolen. Fraud is a serious matter.

Is this true? Do you have your ordered HPA reflected in their Sales System? Have not got mine. And no updates/news they say that HPA was already added ib their system.
