Have a look at the website of oyaide I found out two type of cables for HD598 which are

http://oyaide.com/catalog/products/p-5095.html
and
http://oyaide.com/catalog/products/p-5100.html

Wonder how the qualities of these cables are and I am very interested because I am going to upgrade the cable my HD598. One of the cable in my head now is MoonAudio Black Dragon V2 but definitely these cables from Oyaide are cheaper than MoonAudio Cables

Thanks. What a nice opening picture that you shot.

The JVC FXZ200 sounds like a worthy contender, or maybe even successor to the JVC FX700, which also sounded similar to the DX1000. Seems like they went in a different direction with the treble though or away from the "V shape," while the timbre and soundstage is evidently still intact and impressive.

Now the amp I'm most concerning of is the Senn's new amp, and I haven't see a clear or detailed review about it...

BTW, anyone knows when will the Senn's new amp come out for selling?

Did anyone else get impressions of the new Audio Technica line? I'm curious to see if the new AD2000x is a direct improvement over the AD2000, or of there are any downsides to the new model. Also curious to see if they tried to tune the 1000x/900x to sound similar to the AD2000/x.

Good stuff - thanks for the write up. The HiFiMan 901 looks more and more interesting every time I see it. Home dock? Yes please.

Btw that unknown black box amp driving the K1000 looks like the Audioengine N22, unless I'm misreading your post. Pretty impressive to get that level of sound from a simple integrated and an old school "headphone".

That's a nice and compact integrated amp that should be able to power the HE-6 from its speaker taps.
