hello all,
i was considering to change my Grado HF2 to an hifiman HE500 which i read that today is one of the best Q/P headphones.
i like my grado but i think(but haven't tested and i think i will not) hifiman are better.
i listen rock/indie rock/70-80 hard rock (50%), some pop music, female voices(norah jones for example) and a lot of hip-hop/r'n'b music.
i'm not a sort of bass-head, i have a sony xb700 and i continue prefer the HF2 bass...
i'm searching an headphone with the medium of a grado and a bass with big punch,accurate without overwhelming the midrange( the bass of hf2 sometimes seems to be a little intrusive)
i'll amp my headphone with an italian DIY amp
will hifiman going in this direction?
what are the best genres for the hifiman or which headphone do i consider?
my budget is 600 euro more or less
