Anyone else’s ear lobes touch the bottom of earpad. I wish the pads were an 1/8th inch longer for comfort sake. I use the th900 pads on THX00 and that touching drives me nuts.

No, but the pads on my new HE400i 2020s are so small they feel like on-ears...

The Fostex in general are huge on me, including the TR-X00. Maybe play with the adjustment a bit and they will hang better on your head.

The stock TH900 pads must have some of the largest openings on, like, any headphone. Maybe drop Spock a PM to find out what fits him

Ha, I know what you mean. I'm not normally a fan of circular cups; the Beyer T5p gen 2's cups are annoyingly small. I can't fit my smallish ears in their pads without them tickling my lobes. No such problems on the 900s, though, on either the stock or the Yaxi pads that I'm currently using.

Same happened to me with the Beyer T 1.3. No problem at all with my other headphones -in my avatar- (even with the 1990 Pros which I have right now on my head).

I have TR-X00 Mahoganies and since I got my bleu bayou TH900mk2s I haven't had them on once. The TH900mk2 is an upgrade in every way over the TH and TR.

apart from the removable cables, the th900 mk2 seemed identical to the th900 to me

edit: i mistakenly thought that the above post was referring to the original (red urushi lacquer) th900 mk2 when it was actually referring to the sapphire blue version
