These Dekoni ear pads, this model really opens up the th900. I mean brings the mids forwards and brings the th900 more overall neautral sounding.

With those earpads do you loose some bass response?

Welcome to the SB club :D It's my default headphones ever since I got em, putting the HD800s 2nd. Closed or not, I prefer the TH900s sound. I never heard the red (or my personal fav. colour the green) so I cannot assert if the blue sound different or not. I just know that for me the TH900 SB with dekoni sheepskin pads are end-game worthy.

Yes, Now the SB is also my most favourite can.

Can you tell the different of sound when using dekoni sheepskin pads?

I am interested

Thanks

Let's talk cables! Now I'm sure most of you use your TH900's at home, but I use mine 99% of the time when I'm out walking, and I love to find the perfect cable for them

I have the th900mk2 edition, so cable swaps should be easy. I've tried one from Moon Audio but it's just too bulky. I also found their connectors fall out sometimes.

Now the cable I utterly adore is the silver one that comes with the Campfire Audio Atlas.. Is there anything like this for my Fostex?

https://campfireaudio.com/shop/atlas/

I'd love to find a company who can cut off the plugs from my original cable and make me something lightweight and high quality :)

Thoughts?

Ah crap, I meant Lawton not moon! I got a Lawton Audio Black Hornet cable, but to be honest it's fairly bulky to stick in my pocket, and the weight of it makes the plugs fall out when walking :frowning2:

I also purchased a Wireworld cable which was great but their plugs were beyond terrible!!
Ha, Im in Hong Kong. Im using it 3 hrs on the go. Yeah huge but better sound.
