I don't really know... I can listen to my LCD-2 and HD800 even though there are people sleeping in the same room.

By the way, LCD-2 are near to D7000 in terms of isolation... If these Fostex isolate as bad as Denons do, I don't really see a reason to spend 2k for them at all. They should at least isolate as hell if they cost that much...

However, if someone loves the sound of TH900 over other headphones in the same price category, no arguments against it...

Love the TH900 over all the headphones I tried/own except for the SR009.

My exact point, closed back with isolation worse than open cans. Why bother?

Makes me wonder if the Audeze's will suffer the same fate! :frowning2:

The closed-back Audeze has been quiet for a while now. Who knows how many revisions it may end up going through to finally sound good and have a decent fail rate.

Really? Under $900USD?  I'll get one.  Rakuten bought Buy.com not a while back.  But haven't seen these thru US website yet.

Y'all think the D7000's wooden cups could be screwed on these babies?  I have an extra set ready to go!

Wow, that's more generous than I expected. Just a bit more than the price of some D5000's with a lawton mod + cups, with the obvious added value that these are actually being manufactured right now

. Still would be nice to see some comparisons between the TH-600's and the old denon line, especially modded ones, since those seriously hold their own against even the TH-900's pretty well.

That's almost £150 less than the HE500s here. Wallet is in some serious danger.

I hope someone that gets a pair of TH-600 has a pair of D7000's to compare to. It is my only closed can right now, and I'm looking to buy a new one, but I can't decide if I want to splurge and buy the TH-900, get the TH-600 soon, or wait for the Audeze closed-back.

Yes, I also need this comparison, or eventually to a LA-500/700.

There needs to be a D7000 vs TH600 comparison soon, as I have the suspicion that they will be close to identical. Just have that feeling.

I have the feeling  -no, mostly the hope- that the TH600 will be better. :)

If it is, I still hope for similar harmonic bass, in all it's glory.

The bass on the TH900 is far and a way superior to the D7000. I seriously hope the TH600 is closer to the TH900 in that regard.

If by superior you mean less in quantity, I don't want it. Nor can I afford something so exorbitantly priced.

I love the stock D7000 for what it is. If I wanted tighter bass, etc, I would get one of the million of other closed headphones that do that well, like a pair of Mad Dogs. Call it bass distortion or whatnot, but that's what made the D7000 stand out for me. The bass was different in an awesome way. Didn't ever wanna touch that, which is why I didn't mod mine.

Already have the K702 Anniversary as my warm, very balanced headphone. Don't need another. Looking for that D7000-type fun. Never should have sold it. Kicking myself every day.
