Does anyone have a problem with one of the earpieces having considerably diminished volume and bass?
Also to reiterate a post from above, does anyone know where to get replacement cables for these?

I wasn,t having your exact problem, but had a side skipping sound. I got my pair of Fostex replaced under garanty, and they have been working perfectly since the replacement came more than 6 month ago. As for cable replacement, I have seen some offerded at lunashops.com

I did not buy any, but some models are marked as compatible with Fostex TE 05.

You might also try gearbest.com. They do have an MMCX bluetooth cable, but I don't know about the compatibility with Fostex. Maybe they also have a pluged replacement cable.
