CLOSURE / CONTINUATION LIVE (2023) by Porcupine Tree - It's release day again and this is a biggie in the prog-rock world. Recorded at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam and it's all one single performance beginning to end, so not made by cherry picking bits over several dates and overdubbing the rest, it's all on film too. Porcupine Tree are Steven Wilson on vocals, guitar and keyboards, Richard Barbieri on keyboards and Gavin Harrison on drums and for the live performances Randy McStine on guitar and Nathan Navarro on bass. The recording quality is first class and the music superb, being made up of most of their last studio album and selected numbers from their back catalogue. With the highly detailed sounding SMSL stack providing the signal, slightly smoothed off with the D7200's, my ears will be going to bed very happy.
Which balanced cable with Clear OG?From a group new to me. Roon/Qobuz => BF 2/64 => Jot 2 => Clear og (Balanced)
I've been using the one that came with the headphones. Fed up with it. Too long, too brittle. Ordered a Hart Balanced cable this morning (Not the Hart System Cable) Hope to have it next week!Which balanced cable with Clear OG?
Try his early albums, Twice Removed From Yesterday, Bridge Of Sighs and For Earth Below - they are magicalNew gear day!
Got a Tor Audio Tube amp today, and the initial impression is very good. But I need fresh ears to get more into the details, but this seems much better than the TA-26.
Robin Trower and his album "Where are you going to" is the first full album played by the new setup:
Wiim Mini to SMSL DO100 to Tor Audio Roger to HEKS.
