Just heard this and downloaded it. Great album with lots going on and a wide soundstage. Perfect for the HE1000’s.

A Cell To Call Home (2023) by Advent Horizon - I heard a track by this band for the first time yesterday and five minutes later I bought all their albums and I've been listening to them ever since. They are , in their own words "a contemporary hybrid of 70's prog and 90's rock with a blues twist" and they are utterly amazing, good vocals, stunning guitars, strong song writing and well recorded, they have it all. Up until now I thought my record of the year was Southern Empire's new one but now I'm having a re-think. I started out using my RS-1x Grados but the guitars are a touch too heavy for them so I went back to my DT1990's as they do well with anything - and through them this album (and the others) sounds spectacular.
ps. Could be one for @Davidzak64 - their albums are on Amazon Music, use your AKG K340's

[Edition of Contemporary Music: November, 1973.] One of my favourite jazz trio albums: Stanley Cowell (p), Stanley Clarke (b), Jimmy Hopps (d). The album which makes me wish that Stanley Clarke had stayed with acoustic bass.

Been almost exclusively desktop 2.0 (Revel M16s) and JBL Tour One ANCs for the past several months, but just pulled my LCD-2Cs out and am giving them a workout wth Celldweller, Blue Stahli, MISSIO, Hyper, etc. The LCD-2C/jumpered (full power) Emotiva A-100 delivers such a satisfying visceral punch.

Amazing combo for this album when you are working outside of your office and need to travel light (still Mojo2 would be lighter and take less space but attached Poly drained its battery again so I had to take idsd with me).

files (from NativeDSD)/DSD256 > ifi micro iDSD Signature > Meze Advar

Actually a snowy evening in warm home near fireplace would be even better scene for this album but since I'm at the office now, and sun is shining high while it is still below zero degrees celsius outside one has to accept all limitation

Smooth sound signature of both ifi and Meze with a hint of warmth are giving this album beautiful sound. Meze scene is not intimate, yet your are not overwhelm with it, still feeling that the signer is in front of you. Since some may be wondering due to DSD format: in this setup I do not hear digital glare nor it does not sound dry or a bit sterile.

As always 2HD gives you a perfect recoding.

I think my first real exposure to his acoustic playing and really any acoustic bass, was on Return to Forever's Romantic Warrior. I just loved his sort of growling/slurring touch on the instrument, not to mention the bowing, on the title cut of that record. On all of his basses he's amazing but he does get less recognition for his great acoustic playing.

New toy to try, and straight for some Casiopea.

Grooves by Uffe Steen Trio & Vestbo Trio
Fantastic late evening chill album. I've been a fan of Vestbo Trio for many years and see them live as often as I can. On this one they teamed up with another great trio which gave a slightly different sound than their usual style. Not bad at all either :)
Edit: On the HEKS and V200.
