Great album. Beautifully recorded. Love it!

Leo

Her other album Scribble Folk Symphonies is also quite good -- another Chesky Records... a few tracks on this album with running water and birds in the background - wonderful experience with a good DAC to pull it all apart

Just got done trying out an HD560s, now I'm using my HE1000 V2.

Not sure I'll find a place in my collection for the 560s
Could you compare the V2's to anything else? Clear's, HE6se V2's, etc?

Thanks.

Compared to the Arya Stealth I'd say the mids sound more natural and less forward. The Arya actually is more "airy" sounding imo. Compared to the Clear they're slightly more detailed, quite a bit more energy in the treble, better bass extension, much tighter bass and more impact in the notes overall. To me the Clear might have a slightly more natural timbre overall, and the Clears are a little more laid back in the overall presentation. HEK V2 has a wider soundstage than the Clear. I have never heard the HE6Se's, would love to sometime.

JRiver MC30 (PC) > SMSL SU9 > Schiit Asgard 3 > Beyerdynamic DT1990 pro

Crime of the Century by Supertramp - Great album from a great time for music and Supertramp were different enough to stand out from the crowd. Funnily enough, I wasn't a huge fan at the time, they kind of grew on me over the years and I now count this as a classic. My standout track is Bloody Well Right, I love the driving guitars and the chorus, which could easily be from a different song entirely, but it just works so well. Loving the touch of warmth from the Asgard which almost works like tubes to round off the Beyer highs, not that they bother my 65yr old ears anymore. :L3000:
