For those of us with multiple headphones, which ones are you listening with now?

Since we’re calling out some of the heavy hitters this morning, doesn’t get much heavier than Suffocation, much less so Suffocation live. I’ve been personally “escorted” off stage by the band various times (crowd surfing/diving). The Diana’s are great with well recorded hard rock, but they’re normally a real letdown for Death Metal as the recording quality is typically abysmal. This album however, someone mic’d the band/venue correctly and actually put it through proper care in laying the recording to disc. Sounds fantastic here on what are pretty ruthless headphones for inferior quality recordings.

Whether or not any given individual can stomach Death Metal in the first place, completely different topic, it's not suitable for most people, but if you ever wondered "what does a best case scenario live death metal recording sound like?"... this is it.

Normally wouldn't have even queued it up with these phones, but was too lazy to mess with what was connected to what, pleasantly surprised.

BF2 > Lokius (small bass shelf) > GS-X Mini > Diana v2 🤘

One of my favorite albums of 2022. Incredible folk rock album. Saw them live a few months ago and it was a visceral experience I’ll never forget

Oh god, I wouldn't even want to attempt it on anything hi-fi. I mean legendary disc, but I'm pretty sure they recorded it in a public bathroom in a Florida highway rest stop :D

Arc of Life is a side project of current members of Yes, Jon Davison and Billy Sherwood, plus Yes' touring drummer and Dave Kerzner (not Yes) - unsurprisingly they sound a lot like Yes :L3000:

Whitesnake- Whitesnake

Always loved Coverdale when he sung for deep purple, thought I’d finally check out whitesnake. Coverdale sounds great, and the guitar player here is insane
