DId someone say "Carole King"?

@ColSaulTigh brilliant album indeed :) Love listening to it: AudioQuest NightOwl < Burson Soloist 3XP (power amp mode) < Rockna Wavelight. WL gives musicality, smoothness and analog sound while Burso adds this bit of dynamics and puch to NightOwls.

But today for me it was day about Screaming Trees and not about cans or amps. There is something unique and magical about Sweet Oblivion album. It sounds amazing on any setup I've heard so far. Spinning good old CD right now and listening to it on my speaker setup.

RIP.

@Terriero Im not saying music from YT is always bad, its not, but in most cases versions on Spotify/Tidal/Deezer are just better, less compresed etc. Only sometimes it happens that some song sounds better than from streaming services, most cases such songs are records from vinyl by some audiophile guys. I like SMSL M400 a lot, previously I had Aune S6, imho M400 beats it hardly in every aspect. Good you mentioned XLR, I love that kind of connection, it almost always sound better than through RCA.
Off topic; love your avatar! I'm going to see the 50th anniversary showing in a few days.

My original copy (original as in nearly 60 years old) is sadly trashed. I found a very clean copy (apple label) on the bay for a very fair price.

On A Storyteller's Night by Magnum - One of my favourite bands of the 80's (still going now), I've totally lost count of the times I've seen them, got to be at least 15 :L3000:
The lyrics to Les Morts Dansants slay me every time I hear it - it's about the execution by firing squad of a WW1 soldier with shell shock, which was mistaken for cowardice.
