Enjoying another toddler break in the sun, the weather has been fantastic lately
The youngest is sleeping, and even though I got the baby monitor, I can still listen to some great music

I'm having a great time with IEM'S at the moment, and they are really growing on me, a year ago I wouldn't have thought that would ever happen.
Picked up the Tanchjim Origin again today, it's such a nice all-rounder to me and makes me like all music I play through them. So excited to see is the Mega5EST is worth almost 3x as much
The Moondrop Dawn Pro makes it easy to relax with music anywhere I want to, and it drives my IEMs without any issues, pretty nice for $50US.

Ralph Myerz & The Jack Herren Band and their A Special Album got picked for its uplifting mood and nice beats

this album is getting a lot of love here on Head-fi. I've tried at least 3 times to listen to this. Want to love it (like it even), but just can't do it. I guess it's not my thing. Thanks for the recommendation though.

Same for me, gave it a few shots, but I'm just not feeling it, so it's been removed from the favorite list again

One thing my "new" CD player has done is it's forced me to listen to my headphones unequalized. So with the SASH Tres for example, I can either anguish over the relatively soft upper mids and smoothed treble, or I can just settle down, accept the sound signature for what it is, and appreciate the music...

Random Qobuz discovery hits once again, I WAS listening to this on my R4 / Szalayi but I showed my partner the cover art so now it’s playing on this… Sonos monstrosity in her game room lol.

Scrambot 2 (2016) by Mike Keneally - One time "stunt guitarist" for Frank Zappa, session guitarist and now a guitarist, keyboardist, vocalist and composer. His time with Zappa definitely had an effect on his music and some of it can be quite "out there" but when he floats down to the same planet as the rest of us he produces some pretty fine music. The choice was between the HD800S and the RS-1x and the Grados won the toss: the bass sounds nice and punchy, the guitars have a great crunch and the vocals are light and airy - overall a very agreeable sound.
