Kammerat Rebekka
Headphoneus Supremus
Took my sister’s dog Luna for a walk with some space rock in my ears. I used to listen to this album quite frequently when it came out - oftentimes slightly lofty-headed by space tobacco - feeling like I was being slingshot out into the solar system.
Today was different but then again I almost felt high by the third track
I’ve listened to a lot of space rock - own a boatload of it, and well some times they tend to mush together into one large bubbly sonic brew.
These Swedish cats though have a certain something about them…like they were touched by a Scandinavian guru. The music is quite freeform and wavering - building upon itself these huge structures of guitar feedback - all to the backbone of recurring circular notions coming from the rhythm section. It’s large like mountains, solar, vivid and slowly slowly revealing itself in front of your ears.
On the 7Hz Salnotes Zero
