[RCA: recorded January, 1962; released March, 1962.] At his best, unbelievable; off a bit, still mesmerising.

Listening in the wee hours once again and I wanted some euphonic warmth without compromising the technicalities or the bass bass punch. When it's a sesh that calls for an IEM with those characteristics my automatic choice is the MMR Thummims which I'm currently running off my Hiby RS6. The Thummims are one of the most unique IEMs out there in both sonic performance and aesthetic design and nothing I have heard comes close to doing this sound as well as they do it.

Topping my current queue is Grand General's 2013 self-titled album which I discovered about 7 months ago and have revisited a few times now. It's the only album GG put out and it's so good that I really wish that wasn't the case. With a debut prog album that's this good, I would've loved to see what this band evolved to be through subsequent releases. If you're a fan of prog or just a fan of well executed modern rock genres/music, then this album has to make it to your queue. Two thumbs up from your's truly! 👍👍😎

Regatta de Blanc (1979) by The Police - A quick spin of some seriously good 70's music before bed. I dismissed Sting as a poser when he first appeared on the scene, how wrong I was, great singer, incredible bassist and a world class writer and his band mates weren't bad either. The D7200's are having a real party with Sting's bass and Stuart Copeland's drums sound great too, all in all my ears are in a happy place . . .

Celebrating that I finally broke my "buyers paralysis" regarding IEM's. I've been wanting to buy some for months, but just could not figure out which ones to get, so now I have 2 sets on the way 🤣 Single DD and planar, gonna be fun to compare them 👍
The Roger and HE1000 is playing Ugress - Boulevard of Broken Dystopias, while I'm enjoying that I finally made a decision 👌
