The vintage RS-1 buttons with flats, really gets the job done. The bass slam is very tight and impact full

Toulouse Street (1972) by The Doobie Brothers - Good lord, is it really fifty one years since I first heard Listen To The Music on the radio? I don't play the Doobies anywhere often enough, so I thought I'd jump in with their second album and the first one I ever bought way back in 1972. This is the sort of music the RS-1x excel on, well produced, plenty of space in the music and not too heavy - sonic perfection.

I know, but I think it's better to hear it myself, than read about it. So it was worth the time learning how the gear react… with an impedance of 35 ohms, faring well with a high impedance OTL was unlikely
