I’m a regular shopper at ATA and they’re a terrific store with excellent service. Clear OG currently $700AUD, around $450USD. I bought B Stock Nutopia and it was perfect. Box sealed.

the price seems quite insane! us$450 is like 50% off. they offer similar price level for utopia 2022 and stellia and said they're authorized dealer too! i just bite my lip and go for it!
Everything Focal is cheaper here than in the US. Importers set the price, and ATA is a BIG dealer in terms of stores and sales. Buying power.

What are some deficiencies of Utopia 2022 soundwise in absolute terms?
Smallish soundstage, not quite as resolving as estats or some TOTL planars, less sub-bass than some TOTL planars. That said, I still think it's a fantastic headphone... in absolute terms.

Thanks for the sanity check. I took a good listen today and didn't find any obvious deficiencies, other than smaller stage vis-a-vis 800S and need a bit more sub bass (an upgrade from Utopia OG). Wasn't doing any critical listening so I didn't notice any resolution issue. Everything else sounded pretty good to me.

I can verify that the sub-bass of the Utopia 2022 was slightly less than that of my reference. No doubt when doing A/B. Smoothness, speed, resolution and delicacy were the main characteristics of the pair I tried. A really fine sound, but it has to be like that at this insane price!

It’s NDH30. They are very close in sub bass with most music on CFA3. There may be a song here or there that you get a slightly more sub bass feeling out of NDH30 - nothing like the difference you get with a big planar driver.

As an Aussie I'd be an idiot not to consider this... $2300 USD for Nutopia..
I believe they ship only within Aus / NZ though.
I'm a regular at A2A and can firmly say they are fantastic. Do they ship international though?

Ohh never thought of that. But looks like these sellers are just creating a listing with stock image (they don't have stock) and are placing the order only after you purchase from them, at a markup of course. Anyhow, my Adorama order was cancelled, so here goes...
