Adorama was removed.

Adorama has a 30 day return policy described on their website. For those who received items clearly not new in box that were not so informed of that prior to sale, I agree with what others have recommended that return is the way to go.They were dealer at the time of sale but are not any longer

Update: was offered a $50 "partial refund" to keep my unit. I'll likely return as I have a custom offer from another shop new in box for 3400Adorama has a 30 day return policy described on their website. That's a very good price, but close to $4k with tax; amazing price if that's a shipped price.Update: was offered a $50 "partial refund" to keep my unit. I'll likely return as I have a custom offer from another shop new in box for 3400

That’s the right decision— I’m sure secondhand buyers will avoid units purchased from Adorama since they’re no longer an authorized dealer and the open-box issue also would have made them harder to resell. It’ll be interesting to see what Adorama does with the returns and any backorders now that they’ve been dropped...Update: was offered a $50 "partial refund" to keep my unit. You did good - a way better deal than Adorama.Shipped price![]()
Focal should ideally oblige for the unit sold before they were removed. That’s the right decision— I’m sure secondhand buyers will avoid units purchased from Adorama since they’re no longer an authorized dealer and the open-box issue also would have made them harder to resell. If my dealer is removed as official focal seller tomorrow doesn’t mean I should be left in cold.

I would imagine they will. Do you know otherwise?Focal should ideally oblige for the unit sold before they were removed.

no, I don’t have any information but if there is a way to register the product with Focal for warranty I would try that within 30days of return window. If Focal declines then product is still within return window. If they agree then good for those who snagged it at discount.I would imagine they will. Do you know otherwise?
Reach out to Focal and say that you want the headphone to be inspected for loose headband and whatever issues you have under warranty claim and let’s see what they say. I’m not sure what all is covered under warranty.Update: was offered a $50 "partial refund" to keep my unit. I'll likely return as I have a custom offer from another shop new in box for 3400

i don't know if registration means anything on its own because even when you register it asks you to present the original receipt together with the registration certificate.no, I don’t have any information but if there is a way to register the product with Focal for warranty I would try that within 30days of return window.
