I think so, just shave off a bit from the top end, maybe a db bump in the sub/mid-bass.

I enjoy stock settings with my Mojo 2 though. I've played with the EQ a bit, but think it sounds great just straight up. Maybe it's because I regularly listen with the Hugo 2, the Mojo 2 has a little extra bump in the bass in comparison.

I believe there was a driver failure reported not too long ago.

I had driver replacements 6 months ago. It wasn't failures, an accident caused a high volume 60 HZ buzz thru system with HP's connected for a good 10 sec, totally changed freq balance and sensitivity. I imagine they would have failed shortly, but that was no fault of the headphones. Lesson learned, never clean around system with power on. It was expensive, 2 grand to replace, but still worth it, I love my Utopia's!!! I have two other headphones, they never get listened to, no need!

No, IMO. In terms of FR they are almost the same but they don’t sound exactly alike.
