Thanks a lot for the advice. I had a feeling the FSP was a much better headphone that the Beyer. Needed to be sure though. Next purchase for sure.
you would have to glue them on
Hi guys,
As an Electronic music producer ( mainly Hybrid-Electro-House-music stuff ), I'm enjoying and trusting the extra low-end on the Sony's 7520.
I still own the Focal Spirit ONE, which i clearly dislike, because of the sound signature ( way too dark and no extra-sub's )
Could you please tell me if the pads are a bit bigger on the PRO's..? I wasn't "that" stuck in the FS-ONE's though..
And do you feel i could rely on the PRO's for the Sub low region..? as i do with the Sony's..
..Having good time reading this thread.
Inner pad size is still tiny and measures 50mm by 40mm which is too small for the average ear. Bass is about the same as the Spirit One.

I had the 7520 for about 11 months and loved them as my ultimate closed-back solution. The answer to your question is "Yes," you can certainly produce music using the Spirit Pro for the lowest of sub-bass regions. It's linear and extends to the lowest of lows. It does not have a mid-bass hump like the 7520, or pretty much every other can out there.
Ok, thanks for the feedback, i'd really like to be sure Focal improved the "PRO's" in every compartments and overall sounding.. I was really disappointed with the "ONE's" and can't find a buyer... / ... because of the "PRO's & Classics" I guess..
Anyway, you was really in love with the 7520's you've dismissed.. for the PRO's.. and as i kinda trust your statements
What about the cable...? no need to swap for a V-moda cord..?
Thanks.
The funniest thing is that i now own "your" beloved 7520 headphones, i had them, as a second pair for my GF, from MattTGC... Haha
Kinda bonded now..
Oh... WOW.Glad to know my babies are being loved somewhere. Looks like Spirit Pro is your next logical step.
