I've found I like the Elegia a lot so far with jazz and other instrumental music that does not have a lot of high frequency energy.
I've also enjoyed the Elegia for gaming because it has great sub bass extension for sound effects when called for but without the kind of ever-present boominess that makes gun shots sound like they are fired through a subwoofer that many bass-heavy headphones have.
I do have a creaky right earcup, however. As for pads, I'll probably be sticking with stock because I prefer suede/alcantra/velour and have a hard time wearing leather comfortably (personal preference because of skin feel).
Might 3D print some adapters and try some ZMF pads, though.
