I use them for gaming and where I think these shine is in their speed and dynamics. I've had a lot of moments that scared the crap out of me as they just react so quickly! I find imaging good however I don't play competitive FPS or anything.
Well I mostly made that thing for work, happy I get a second stick on magnet for the mic I threw it on my HD800 so big win there if the Elegia doesn't deliver, but I was pretty fed up after buying probably 10+ bluetooth headphones, the Mobius and Penrose were pretty good for music but lacking, I have to think the imagine beats them as well. Shame I lost an excuse to buy the LCD-GX though, cannot believe I want to go back and buy all these gaming headsets despite me not even gaming but I honestly use the Elegia in bluetooth mode more than I ever used those outside of gaming, and I know I would put on my LCD-3 before putting on a GX, now time for me to go agonize about buying used LCD-4 and used Radiance
Made a good buy today! I am always cruising CAM (Canuck Audio Mart) and came across an ad with the best price I have ever seen on Clears ($900.00Cdn.). He also had a pair of Dekoni Stellia Ltd. edition pads. I didn't have the headphone budget for the Clears, but I did buy the pads for $100.00Cdn.
I will be trying them next week. Curious to compare to the sheepskins.

I think the Elegia are very usable for gaming cans, but the lack of midbass does hurt it for certain genres. Explosions and gunshots sound a lot more impactful on my VZR Model One.
I bought these a couple weeks ago for my wife for our anniversary. She told me that she doesn't need them (they're not pink and girly enough lol) so I now have another set of nice headphones!!!
I have a similar mark on my own Focal Celestee - I have tried both alcohol and water, to no avail. It appears that the blot on my headphone - much like yours - is a physical nick, and not a "stain". However, if anyone has any reasonable suggestion(s) to get rid of this eyesore, I'm all ears. Thanks!
