Focal Clear headphones

Hi Everyone!

I'm trying to find a 4.4mm balanced non horribly overpriced/magic pixie dusted cable for my Clears. I've been looking around for options and needless to say it is very difficult to find something that is quality and not priced astronomically in europe.

Does anyone know if these cables would work on a focal clear with a 4.4mm balanced jack?

Thanks!
Hallo Ohhellyea .

Yes the Meze cable should works with the Clear .
3.5 mm mono plug and plug diameter smaller than 10mm,… fits .

Best Greetings , Nomos

Wondering if anyone who has heard ZMF Auteur can offer contrast of sound with Clear MG, especially treble extension and soundstage /imaging. Wondering if they are different enough o warrant owning both, as I still really enjoy Auteur but would like a different option as well. Thanks!

I just ordered Clear MG and am wondering if the cable connector type is same as Stellia, Elegia and Elear?

Once you get them could you share how the Clears compare to the Auteurs?

I got my first high end pair of headphones earlier today, the Clear. Gotta say, they kinda sound pretty similar to my 200 dollar HD 560S. I can notice a slight increase in bass when switching from my phone to my computer. What am I doing wrong when these sound like 95% the same as the 560s) (besides not having an amp?)

Huge build quality upgrade over my 560s. I actually don't feel like crap when I put them on.

Even though the Clear are efficient headphones, easy to drive, they will sound their best with a dedicated headphone amplifier.

Yep! As sensitive as they are. They love the juice! I'm literally throwing about 4.5 watts at them using high gain on the MJ2 and it's absolutely stunning.

Ah man so I can't get a DAP like the ibasso dx300? Guess I could get a topping or an all-in-one for now. I'm big on portable and use headphones with the subpac. I think the subpac provides the other "half" headphones don't. To me, it's a complete headphone experience. I wanna wait and see if their new X1 model's built-in amp is worth its salt cuz they keep bragging about it lol. But they've been delaying it for over a year so I've gotten impatient and probably will get an amp of some sort. I had a fiio k5 pro but it shorted on me when my basement flooded. :)
