I upgraded the cable not for the sound/tone change, but to help with the microphonics of the original cable. The new cables have a slight difference in sound, but I would have been with original cable's sound. The microphonics was the issue for me... Stellia either but a upgrade cable helped ...

Pink Panther is an old cat-man now
yes, pink would be nice
What also would be great: smaller EQ steps. Like 0.25 dB instead of 0.5 dB. Would you be so kind and forward my wish to your friends at Focal?
This would not make sense in my opinion, because 0.25 db steps is below the human perception limit for the ear

I was stopped twice while touring Edinburgh by people asking about the Bathys. An employee in the botanical garden gift shop said…
“Damn those headphones look good! I bet they are good right? They’re expensive?”
He went on to tell me he had grados at home but he’d never seen the Bathys. I told him the price and he noted the name of the product down on a notepad. I offered that he could listen to mine but as he was working at the gift shop he wasn’t able.

Nice to get positive feedback. My students saw me in mine and said I looked like an idiot... if it's not made by Apple it's not acceptable in their eyes.I was stopped twice while touring Edinburgh by people asking about the Bathys. An employee in the botanical garden gift shop said…

Yeah I guess I can see younger people seeing it like that. There was another guy that spoke to me in an art gallery that said he really liked the look of them.
A bit unexpected because otherwise I’m not there type of person that gets stopped for compliments. Sometimes people stop and talk about my long board or dog but by default I don’t have those types of things with me.
