Since this post and my last one mine has progressed 8%.

I did do everything it said not to though, locked my phone, suspended the app, and even turned off the headphone just to test what would happen and it just prompts you to reconnect, no disaster.

What's your experience with the update? Mine is going at 1% per minute. The phone is connected via wireless at 500 mbs so It's not a bandwidth issue.

The app also states that it needs you to keep the device unlocked and the app can't stay in the background? That seems quite hard to do for an update that is going to take between 60 and 90 minutes.

Mine installed pretty quick (about 5 minutes). I had to clear the data in my Focal Android app settings because the dynamic EQ option wasn't showing up after the update. It showed up when I cleared all data but I've lost my custom EQ's (no big deal).

I've tried it and like it. I assume that the EQ will adjust based on the volume level?! Hence the use of the word "dynamic".

Apart from that, the Sidetone feature clearly puts your headphones in a reduced transparent mode so that you can hear yourself talk and some of the outside world. It's a nice feature to have.

How do you even access the sidetone feature? On iOS it’s nowhere to be found as far as I can tell.

Same place where you would choose the digital assistant. Top right of the screen there is a wheel cog icon on Android and there are app settings that you can change there.

I need to say I love this update, Dynamic EQ was exactly what I needed to be honest. It’s a great tuning for daily commute!
I just need to check if in DAC mode logo is still on (don’t like that at all)

Updated. The Dynamic EQ is definitely better than the original set of useless EQs, however, I still prefer my custom EQ which can bring out a bit more sound stage than dynamic.

does this 1) stand not impact of pads? or better use second one pictured? but second collect dust in dynamics? second bad too for dust?
